QUEBRANTO ARRIVES AT MARBELLA THIS FRIDAY

Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés’ flamenco  dance company brings his performance to Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, next Friday, 28th of September, at 9pm.

Antonio de Verónica: ‘ Flamenco is art if you feel it, if you carry it within and you delight it honestly. Flamenco dance is a hand in the air that moves you and a very graceful heel stamping. Flamenco is a gift if the dancer suffers and celebrates at the same time. That’s what Quebranto is: art, life, party, struggle and race. Other things come alone when artists of that caliber act on the stage. Saray Cortés, Antonio de Verónica o la Salinera are pure flamenco. Pure and golden.

The day is this Friday. The national premiere was last 28th of July, at La Malagueta bullring (Malaga) and it was a completely success.

Are you gonna miss it now in Marbella? I’m sure you won’t.

And after that, would you come to El Candil and would you take a glass of a good wineand enjoy our Spanish tapas and our music? I am sure you will.

SPANISH IBERIAN HAM… I LOVE YOU…

Because of your high ferrum, zinc and vitamins B2, B3, B6 and B1 content.
Because of your unsaturated fatty acid.
Because of your organoleptic properties.
Because you fill up my senses.

It’s been reasserted that Spanish Iberian ham is good for your health.

The Andalusian Technological Center for the Meat Sector (TEICA, Centro Tecnológico Andaluz del Sector Cárnico), promoted by the Economy, Innovation and Science regional ministry of Andalucía (Consejería de Economía, Innovación y Ciencia de la Junta de Andalucía), in cooperation with the Nutrition and Food Technology Institute (INYTA) from the University of Granada, has done the first detailed study about the nutritional Spanish Iberian ham, that compares all the nutritional differences that exist between the breed and diet.

After knowing in the last few years not only the Spanish Iberian ham organolectic properties but his healthy properties because of his high ferrum and unsaturated fatty acids (mainly oleic and linoleic acids) content, this study shows the importance of other micronutrients in his composition, such as ferrum, zinc and vitamins B2, B3, B6 and B1.

All the analysis to Spanish Iberian hams from acorn-fed pigs show that Spanish ham provides:
  • Up to 45% of ferrum of the daily recommended intake for Spanish men population.
  • 23% of ferrum for women (who normally need more ferrum because of their metabolic needs)
  • Between 25 and 26% of zinc (mineral related with the muscle mass increase in the puberty stage, the correct inmunitarial system function and really helpful during lactance period, helping the baby to grow up stronger).
  • Vitamins such as B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B6 (piridoxin) and B1 (tiamin).

You can find the best ham ever at El Candil, chosen as one of the best at San Pedro de Alcántara by spanish ham lovers.
